Melinda Whitmore wins National Sculpture Competition!

The National Sculpture Society held their annual figure modeling contest last week at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in Connecticut. 12 contestants were selected to participate, each required to model a full-length, half-life-sized figure in clay in 28 hours. The judging took place on Friday, and our own Melinda took first place! She was awarded The Walker Hancock Prize by a panel of three judges. Congratulations to Melinda! We're all proud of you here!
