With the study of anthropometry as our focus, students will gain an understanding of the veriations of the human head from the skull out. Through intensive calibrating and measuring, students will learn proper technique in acquiring the information necessary for achieving a clear likeness in a sculptural portrait. Modeling techniques and casting options will also be addressed in the final stages of completion of a formal life-sized bust sculpture.
