Life Casting walks students through the process of direct mold-making techniques from the human body. Students will become familiar with two basic mold-making materials: plaster gauze and alginate. Once molds are made of students' hands and faces, we will then pour our casts in plaster. Simple finishes and patinas will also be discussed and applied to the completed casts.
