This class will guide the student through a complete figure drawing in pastel. The class will also cover types of pastel paper, pastel brands, techniques and tools. There will be a demonstration by the instructor at each critical point in the process so that the student will know how to proceed confidently and correctly. Between demonstrations the instructor will monitor student progress and offer individual advice on figure drawing and pastel technique.
