Drawing for "Pickled Green Beans"
Mindy's garden yielded mightily this summer, and among the masses of tomatoes, zucchini and apples was about a metric ton of green beans. We ate some, gave away most, and she pickled the rest in jars. When lit, these transmit the most beautiful Green-Yellow you've ever seen. Such obvious fodder for still life painting cannot be ignored, so David got to work immediately. The painting is nearly done now, but he took some in-progress shots.
